Hi, my name is Casper and I am a very shy, very quiet Goffin cockatoo. I was abused by some very mean people when I was a baby and then was given to a lady who loved me very much. I have plucked out most of my long feathers, but still have my fuzzy down feathers to keep me warm! My foster mom says I look like a baby penguin, whatever that is! My foster mom and dad are working on getting me on a good diet, and so far I am doing very well. I won’t let them handle me just yet, but they are hoping I will learn to trust them eventually. For now, they are giving me my space and letting me adjust to my new surroundings. I want to be with someone who will love me for who I am and will be patient with me, because it will probably be a while before I come out of my shell. Is this you? Are you the one for me??
