Charlie is a great trained family companion
Charlie is now over his family leaving him behind and adjusted enough to go on to his forever family
the best home would be with someone that wants a companion a family member either adult home or a few older well behaved kids that want a dog they can play fetch with and run around with a companion that can sleep in their room or even on the bed a kids best buddy to grow up with
he's a fun boy but not a hyper dog he can easily just hang out while people are at work
He's a good boy and very loving with a sensitive nature, he just wants to belong again
He loves nature hikes and going for walks
Charlie is not a small dog he's 50 tall lean pounds so a medium dog and fully grown
he is a very handsome boy much more in person than even the best pictures
We know Charlies history since he was a pup, lived in same loving family all his life, he misses a family much and looking for a extra loving forever home
His owner had big life changes and could no longer keep him, he was adopted from us as a baby and in one home only never in a pound
he did not take it well to be left behind by his owner and still not quit over as he needs a special loving family that will love and adore him
This is a well trained and fully house broke house dog that goes outside in fenced yard to play and potty but loves being indoors with his family
In rare cases when we actually know the dogs history since he was a baby
He's mellow and relaxed in the home but active to walk and play
He is looking for a super loving family that has time for him and makes him part of daily life, somewhat active, daily walks and playtime otherwise relaxing on the couch

Charlie has lived with a female miniature schnauzer and a male Rottie/Dobiemix. He has always gotten along with both of them.
He gets along with most dogs but some he does not like so if another dog at home must be a good match, think a smaller dog would be better for him or as only pet as a family member
He has not lived or been around cats so cat free home best
He has lived with kids from the ages of 2-17, he has always been gentle and loving with the kids, however if kids at home we are looking for older calmer, kind kids that learned how to respect animals and can play fetch with him and run with him
Charlie is an excellent companion for walking or running
He loves the water, especially the hose, likes to bite the stream of water as it comes out.
Charlie can sit and roll over
When you first start walking him he will pull on the leash, usually the first block or two because he's excited. Then he will calm down and walk nice. At the end of a walk, when he's tired, you can let him off leash and he will walk next to you once he knows you and is bonded to you
Charlie LOVES giving kisses lots of kisses so wants a family that does not mind
