Chewy's Story...

Chewy (short, we assume, for Chewbecca,) is a three year old wookie-colored kitty with some of the softest fur you will ever find on an adult cat.

Chewy is a cat's cat. She would like you to believe that she is graceful and aloof in all things, but you will find her following you around the house, because what good is being aloof to an empty room? Then suddenly you will find her sitting beside you, curled up all content, with a look on her face that says "Don't tell anyone, but I rather like you." If you agree to keep her secret, she will be in your lap. Her pale green eyes could light a room, and you will feel her purring from 10 feet away.

She does not enjoy being picked up or told where to be, but she is civil in her discontent. Meanwhile she will serenade your ankles in the morning, chase a laser pointer for hours, and lean into a bristly brush. For anyone looking for a classic feline companion, Chewy is your dream kitty.

If you are interested in finding out more about this cat, please fill out an application on our website. Chewy is being fostered in Worcester.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chewy, a Worcester Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
