Wendy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Wendy's Story...
Wendy was saved from a local animal shelter after she became very urgent due to coughing and being heartworm positive. Wendy was on a round of antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection and she's now completely. Wendy has started heartworm treatment and is doing well. Wendy is currently on heartworm prevention with us and after 6 months needs to be rechecked for heartworms. Any potential adopters would be responsible for continuing heartworm prevention and getting Wendy rechecked for heartworms at their own expense. Wendy is approximately 2 years old and she gets along great with other dogs. Wendy also does very well with children! She would make an excellent addition to any family. Wendy is fully vetted, which includes; spayed, all vaccines, heartworm treatment, kept on heartworms and flea/tick prevention, and microchipped.
Adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Arlington Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
