My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dahla is a beautiful, dainty girl (only about 40 pounds) who is looking for her Happily Ever After! She is crate trained and housebroken, and is estimated to be approximately 2 years old. Dahla loves children and gets along great with other dogs, rides well in a car, and walks nicely on a leash. Her coat is absolutely gorgeous - such a lovely light cream - and she has the most endearing smile!

Dahla is very quiet and has only barked once so far! (greeting a new dog) She takes treats extremely gently, and does very well with getting a bath and brushing. She responds well to kind reassurance and encouragement, and warms up to new people and situations quickly.

We recently discovered that Dahla may be dog-dependent, so would probably do best in a home with another dog - size/gender is not as important as much as the other dog being outgoing and active. She also would do best in a home with a fenced yard and/or with an adopter who is physically active (long walks, jogging/running, hiking, or playing in the yard), and would likely excel in agility training. She does need correction to keep from jumping up on people, is very playful and eager to please.
