Odie's Story...
ODIE is always doing odd things she is just a born comic. She likes to play with celery sticks and will walk around with them looking very proud. Another of her favorites is sock wrestling probably because she always wins. She will also carry on long conversations with you: talk or imitate her sounds and she will talk back. Probably the funniest thing about her is the way she looks so serious when shes doing silly things. She plays a lot and will even wrestle with some of the larger cats, but she always ends up hissing and running away -- she starts things but then gets mad when shes losing! Even though Odie seems rough and rowdy when shes playing, she prefers very soft petting. When she wants to be petted, she will stand on tiptoes and wag her tail. Odie has decided that sometimes she likes the dogs of the house (Shepherd/ St. Bernards) and is wondering if they will pet her too. If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you.

All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. You can also visit us at Petco in Janesville, where we show cats every other Saturday. Please email or call ahead to make sure we will be there to meet you!

Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.

About Community Cat Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a cat advocacy group dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. Our purpose is to help owned and unowned cats in our area by facilitating high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter services; helping caregivers to find resources to keep and humanely care for their cats; and providing care to cats in need, especially those who may not find help elsewhere.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!

Our Adoption Process...

An adoption application can be filled out online through our web site www.commcat.org. We will process your application as soon as possible. Our adoption fees are $50 for adults and $85 for kittens under one year old. Adoption fees include the spay or neuter, rabies and distemper vaccinations, worming, and microchipping.
