Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everybody. I'm Tessa, a basset hound. I'm approx. 18 months old and weigh 40 lbs. The nice HART people rescued me from a not-so-nice shelter in Kentucky. I've recently had puppies, but now I'm spayed and ready to come to your house. I am housebroken and my foster parents don't even crate me while they are at work. I'm a little shy with other dogs at first, but once I get to know them, I love to play with them. I get along well with my foster doggie sisters, but didn't love the dog park. Too may dogs at once! When my foster parents get home from work, they sit down and pet me and I tell them all about my day. I can be quite talkative. I even talk to my foster grandma on the phone sometimes.
Are you looking for a great companion? I am a love bug and need a forever home. Could that be your home?
Tessa is microchipped, spayed & up to date on her shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to her. Thanks!
