Meow! My name is Coco

Coco is a real sweetheart of a guy. He loves to rub on his foster parents legs and just goes around and around. He does talk alittle bit and he loves being wherever people are. Coco is 9 yrs old and a diabetic. He is currently getting 2 insulin shots a day. He does not mind the shots. He gets along with other cats. Coco is thinking that he might like a home where he can go in and out. It usually isnt our first choice but he does run out the door if he gets the chance. A house without other outside cats would be best as he will chase them. Coco hopes someone will adopt him soon. 

UPDATE: 4/9/12 Coco is still waiting for a home. He was just rechecked and his blood glucose is staying steady. He has been on the same about of insulin(1.5 units twice a day) for the past 8 months. We found generic insulin at Walmart for $24.88 a bottle and a box of 100 syringes for $12.00. The insulin will last you months and the syringes will last you 50 days. 

UPDATE: 5/21/12 Coco is doing well and still waiting on his forever home. He is a loveable guy that just loved attention. He hopes he will find his family soon.

UPDATE: 2/17/13 COCO is still in foster care waiting for someone to be interested in him. He still gets 2 shots a day of 2 units of insulin. He is doing very well. We will send him home with a box of syringes and a new bottle of insulin!
