Alley's Story...
br>AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding area.

Hi, I am Allie .
I am an energetic, alert and affectionate little girl who loves to play with my foster friends. I was put in the pound
because the teen-age children were not taking care of me. I appear to be house-trained and was really happy when I could sleep on
a dog bed again. My foster home thinks I'm a dobie mix around 4-5 months old (9/2011).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alley, a Richmond Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
