My story

UPDATE: Jetson and his siblings were retested for FIV on 1-4-12 and the result is that all of them are NEGATIVE. The reason for the switch is that it takes roughly 6 months for all of Avery's antibodies to get out of their systems. This is GREAT news for Jetson!

Avery came to OOAL when her babies were just 3 weeks old and they were living in the back seat of an old car. Avery was tested for FIV/FeLV and the combo test came back that she is FIV+. We decided to re-test her when we had her spayed and yesterday was the day. The test still came back FIV+. Yesterday we also had one of the kittens tested and he to came FIV+. The entire litter is looking for furrever families. The only catch is that they have to go to a family with no other cats or cats that are already FIV+. Everyone is in foster care and doing great.
