Reba's Story...
Reba is an original! Sweet of voice, the temperament of an angel, this little girl is on her way North to join us here in the big city. Her bags are packed (Poochie of course) and she is ready to join the elite on the street! Youth is on this girls side and we know she is going to make someone very happy. She is up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm free, spayed and grrrrraring to go! She is affectionate, has a clue about housetraining, and we believe she would make an excellent addition to a great family. Kid and dog friendly, ask us about our newest 15 lb. family member!

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Reba, please complete an adoption application by visiting our web site, clicking the "adoption" tab, reading the guidelines, and submitting an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reba, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
