Sheeba's Info...

I am already spayed, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sheeba's Story...
Hello, how do you do? My name is Sheeba and I'm a beloved 1 ½ year-old Finnish Lapphund mix. I was abandoned by my family with my sister but she has already been adopted and now I'm here all by my lonesome. Now I feel I have no security at all and am quite frightened of what is going to happen to me. I desperately need a kind and loving family who will take all my fears away and help me regain my confidence and trust again. Since I am incredibly skittish I will need to go to a home with no children please. I am sensitive to noise and quick movements and cower whenever I'm scared. The volunteers think I may have been an outdoor dog; everything seems so unfamiliar to me. I am a darling sweet lass; how could this ever happen to me? If you come down to see me you will see that I'm not just beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well.

Act quickly to adopt Sheeba. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheeba, a Huntington Finnish Lapphund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Finnish Lapphund for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Finnish Lapphund dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Finnish Lapphund breeders who help with Finnish Lapphund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
