Rocko's Story...
HI, my name is Rocko and I'm part of Rasta's 7. I am about 12-14 weeks old and the biggest and most beautiful of the bunch. I am the Alpha of my pack and a very very sweet one at that. I have a low key, warm personality and LOVE chew toys.

My life started out pretty rough. My brothers and sisters and I were dumped at the shelter. Then we were on Death Row!! We were saved and brought to Rasta's Rescue Ranch where we broke out with Parvo that we got from the shelter. We also had worms and a respiratory infection.

Now I am healthy, happy and ready for my own forever home. I will love you forever and ever and hope you will treat me as part of your family, forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocko, a Santa Fe American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
