Buddy's Story...
Buddy was a dump(Someone left him in a ditch) covered in ticks and left in a rural area at the tender age of about 6wks to fend for his self. The farmer who found him called and asked if the rescue could take him. He didn't want to take him to the dog pound. Buddy was thin and a very sad little fellow. Now he is happy and healthy, tick free. He is the best boy ever, he follows me every where, he is my little buddy, that"s how he got his name. He's very sweet, loves a good cuddle, likes to be in your lap and gives lots of kisses. Buddy is very laid back puppy and a great best buddy. Our email is incorrect, we are trying to get it fixed. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Somerset Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
