My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dear Santa,

My name is JoJo and all I want for Christmas is a family to love me. I am a good boy just ask my foster parents. Are you looking for a physically fit, 38 pound, stocky, handsome, housebroken, crate trained, good natured, easy going, sweet, friendly, good with kids, ok with cats, likes other dogs, good in the car, 4 year old male? If so, I am your beagle. Ok, that was all of the good about me, there is a couple of bad. Like most other beagles at times I like to get in the bathroom trash, chew on plastic bottles (gees they left them out), and would do well with some training.

I do have a sad story but fortunately Midwest BREW took me into the program: when I was a puppy I lived with a family that had children but when the children grew they didn’t want to play with me anymore so I was swooshed out of the house, then given to a man who didn’t want me either so I ended up at the animal control shelter. The nice lady at animal control realized I was an exceptional candidate for the program so she called Midwest BREW and here I am with my foster family. I really like it here because I have my own crate with nice and cushy bedding. Foster mom cuddles with me and gives me kisses and tells me that I am a good boy and in return I gaze at her with my loving brown eyes and just let her pet me. Oh, what a life! But Santa, all I want for Christmas is a forever home.

Love, JoJo

Note from foster mom and dad:

Jo is a great beagle and very intelligent. He would do very well in an obedience class which would improve his house etiquette. He has adjusted very well to the day to day activities in our home and to the personalities of two other beagles and a blind cat. Jo is crated at night (sleeps very well) and during the day while we are at work. He is a very gentle beagle with the typical tri-colors and freckles on his snout.

He will make a great family pet! If interested in a loving handsome male, he is your boy beagle!
