My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Star is 7 lbs of lovin......she has more of the schn wiry coat. hypo allergenic, and white with black on her body. she is a typical loving puppy, learning to play and interact with other dogs at her foster home. she is learning no and commands and house trainning. she loves to go run around outside. she is about 14 weeks old and very playful.

Star's adoption fee is $295 plus a refundable spay deposit $50. She is MICrOCHIPPED.... Star is up to date with puppy shots at the time of adoption.. We do require an additional refundable spay or netuer deposit. When you have your pet spayed or neutered before 7 months old, send us a copy of your vet paperwork and we will refund your deposit. All dogs in rescue msut be spayed or neutered, so we have to do this in order to adopt out puppies before they are old enough to have fixed. Besides we don't want to add to the over population of pets.

She is being fostered by John and Sandy and her family in the Deerfield ohio area.

Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them and some potty pad train and work on potty skills. When your application is approved, you will speak with the foster Mom for more information and you can check then at what point each foster dog is at. Dogs learn quickly and most are pretty far along or trained by the time of adoption.

Star has been examined by our vet, and is up to date with puppy shots at the time of adoption. Our rescues are on flea/tick and heartworm monthly preventatives in season. .

We send your new dog home with a copy of all vet paperwork, adoption papers, a small bag of the dog food they have been on and information on taking care of the dog. Also a health folder for your vet and notes from our foster mom on their schedule, habits and socialization skills.

We do adopt our rescue dogs to adjourning states and some others within driving distance of the foster family. We DO NOT SHIP OUR DOGS--the adoptive parents must meet the dog at the foster mother’s home. This will give the adoptive family a chance to meet the dog before they adopt it. Our dogs are fostered in NE Ohio and surrounding areas. Please do not apply if you can not come within 2 weeks once notified you are approved to adopt your rescue dog. We do adoptions on the weekends and during the week, by appointment.
