Ada's Story...
Ada is an adult corgi mix. A shy girl, Ada likes to adopt a wait-and-see attitude before entering into a new situation. Once she feels comfortable with her surroundings, she joins in on the fun.

A great pack dog, Ada loves the company of other dogs, and gets along well with cats, too. Her quiet and gentle nature make her a pleasure to be around.

Ada is spayed, current on all vaccinations, and up-to-date on heartworm preventative. If you have room in your home and heart for this very special lady, please contact Gail Ross at (870) 431-8229

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ada, a Oakland Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
