Fresca's Story...
My name is Fresca and the nice people at Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue were kind enough to rescue me from Animal Control when my time was up. I had been at the shelter for awhile and I was worried that no one was interested in me due to my age as I am 8 yrs old and most people want to adopt the younger cats or kittens. The rescue people say that one day someone will come in looking for an older cat and I will be in a home again. It has been a difficlult adjustment for me to be taken out of my home of 8 years and brought into a shelter. I guess I am overlooked often for the younger ones but I am only 8 years young and a little bit on the plump side. I used to live in a very nice home with my owner but sadly she passed away leaving me homeless. I can be a little shy at first but I am very sweet and friendly just scared to be out of my home that I have known for so long and uncertain about my future. I really hope someone kind hearted will consider me and take me into their home. I have always been a wonderful companion and am very, very clean and quiet. I am used to long naps in the sun and love to look out the windows. I love to be groomed and will roll over on my side so you can brush every spot. I would be more suited to a quiet, adult only household. Please come and take me home. Fresca's adoption fee is $175.00, she has been vet checked, vaccinated to date, microchipped.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are small but growing group of volunteers who simply love cats. We are not-for-profit organization who rely on public donations and support to continue to operate and save the lives of many innocent cats and kittens. The majority of our cats & kittens are rescued from Kill shelters who are rescue friendly and allow us to take these cats who are slated for euthanasia because of a lack of space in the shelter. Foster homes are our life blood, we need foster homes year round. Volunteers to help us with fundraising events, garage sales, adoption centres etc are always welcomed.

Adoption application can be downloaded and completed and emailed back to us at info@forgottenones.ca. Once reviewed and approved, and adoption rep will be in contact with you to go over some of the questions on the application and to perhaps arrange a meeting with some of the cats in our adoption facility. Standard adoption fee is $175.00 for adults, includes vet exam, spay/neuter, microchip, tested for Feleuk/FIV. Kitten adoption fee are $225.00.
