I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Maxie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Maxie's Story...
Maxee is approximately one year old. She is a beagle/boxer/pug (?) mix. She is up to date on all her shots. She has been spayed. She is housebroken to go potty out side. She has also completed an obedience course. She loves to go for car rides and walks at the lake. Maxie is a wonderful girl, but unfortunately needs to be in a home wehre she is an only pet. she does not get along well with some dogs, and we are hoping someone can provide this little girl a home wehre she can be an 'only child'. if you would be interested in meeting maxie, please email mary at corvetteluver01@yahoo.com or janet at janet.griffey@ky.gov
Most of our animals come from very high kill rural area shelters. Most have been neglected and/or abused, so please consider giving a loving new home to one of our wonderful pets...you will be repaid with years of love and devotion. TRANSPORT CAN LIKELY BE ARRANGED TO AN APPROVED HOME. Thanks for looking! I need a sponsor! If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring a needy animal. For a small donation, you can help cover food and vet costs for these homeless animals!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxie, a Paintsville Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Paintsville, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Paintsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paintsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paintsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paintsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
