Nestor's Story...
Nestor is this handsome fellas name and he can't wait for you to visit with him! Nestor was found outside of our facility just waiting for one of the staff members to find him and bring him in where it was clean, warm, and there was plenty of found to be had. When no one claimed Nestor he was sent out to our lobby to find himself a family, and there he sits waiting for the day someone says they will take him home. Nestor has a shorthaired, buff colored tiger striped coat, and we think he is pretty distinguished looking. Being only one year old Nestor will make a great companion for all ages as long as your ready to play for a few minutes everyday. Nestor has been neutered, vacinnated, and microchipped. Please come in to visit with Nestor today, he might just be the cat for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nestor, a Jackson Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
