My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To know Boof is to love him! While this eight-year-old, purebred Newfie has the
face of a statesman, he has the soul of a puppy. He is a laid back
fella whose primary purpose in life is to be with his people. He is
eager to please and accepts direction and correction very well when
needed. Boof continues to work on his leash skills, but he can walk
well on a leash with a little direction from time to time.

When new people of any age come into his comfortable environment, Boof
greets them warmly alongside his fellow fur balls. When he is out and
about, he is very aware and curious of his surroundings. He can be a
little more leery of strangers and kids who approach in a new
environment, but he gives them a chance to earn his approval.

While at the foster home, Boof has played well with another, similar-
aged Newfoundland. He also showed a healthy interest in the cats in
the home, sniffing and, if allowed, licking.

Boof has made great strides since coming to the foster home. He is
in generally good health and is putting healthy weight on his frame.
Boof is currently around 100 pounds, with a target around 115. His
beautiful black coat is shiny and there is a lively spark in his eyes.

Boof is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on heartworm medication.

Our adoption fee is $250.00. A fenced yard with a minimum height of 4-feet is required for adoption.
