Grizzly's Story...
I’m a big old Grizzly Bear named Grizzly! GRRRRRRROOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Actually…I’m more of a teddy bear than a Grizzly Bear…I’m submissive, sweet, and I get along with kids and cats too. Maybe you can call me Gentle Ben instead? I’m a great family pet, and I’ve lived with kids of all ages. The problem is, I lived with a lot of kids, so there wasn’t a lot of time and attention given to me. I spent a great deal of time out in the backyard, and with nothing to do I taught myself how to jump a 6 foot fence. It’s not that I want to run away from home, I just want to be closer to my people. I’m an active dude, but with the right amount of training and exercise I can be the perfect family pet for you. Just give me a chance!
2 years old-75lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; microchip, neuter, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grizzly, a Portland Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Portland, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
