My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a fun, affectionate, loyal and loving little girl. She is amazing with everyone and learns very quickly. She is a great size and has the temperament to make her a loved family companion. She loves playing with her toys and knows the difference of what is hers and what is not. She is very quick to catch on to commands and is praise motivated. She will be an excellent family pet.

Daisy is very in tune to her people. She is very eager to please and to do whatever is expected of her. That being said, she does need someone that is calm and gentle in their approach to training with lots of positive reinforcement. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She would love the company of another dog in the home.

Daisy is a very friendly girl. She is great with the two 10 year old children in her foster home, and will kiss and cuddle them.

Daisy loves other dogs and it would be a bonus for her if there was another dog in her new home. She is great with the dog in her foster home and when the other dog wants to stop playing, Daisy will stop without issue. She loves trips to the dog park and will run and play keeping up with the best of them. When she sees another dog on her walks she is totally non-responsive other than a bit of tugging as she wants to go and play with them. She does not bark at other dogs even when they are barking at her. There are also two cats in her foster home and other than a sniff once in awhile she totally ignores them.

Daisy is currently crated during the night and when her foster family is not home. She willingly goes into her crate without any issue and does not make a peep. He foster family are ensuring it is a positive experience and leave her with a treat. She will often go into her crate for her naps as well. When left alone in the home she has never touched anything or made any unnecessary noise. She does get excited when you come to let her out of her crate but she is learning to sit patiently. Daisy is very eager to please and picks things up quickly and easily. She is already learning her basic commands in just one session learned to sit and down on command.

Daisy loves being outside and playing with the other dog in her home. When the other dog has had enough however, Daisy easily settles. She also loves to play fetch with a soft soccer ball and can go and go but when you say you are done, she settles immediately. In the home she is calm and well behaved. After a good bath and brushing, Daisy seems to shed minimally.

Daisy has done very well learning her basic commands and will come when called. She is both treat and praise motivated and very intelligent making her easy to train. She is very in tune with her people and is watch you to make sure that what she is doing is right. She would do best with positive reinforcement training. She is completely house trained but you do need to watch for her sitting at the door to let her out. She has never messed in her crate. She is great in the car and sits quietly and calmly looking out the window. She is currently on her way to being fully leash trained but at this point she does still pull a little. Daisy has never counter-surfed or begged for food. She is very respectful and learned very quickly what was expected of her in the home. She really just wants to please you. She does not jump up on anyone however she will jump up on the couch for a cuddle.

Daisy would be best placed in a home with children that would like to play fetch and cuddle with her. Another friendly, playful dog in the home would be a huge bonus for her as she loves other dogs. Cats in the home should be no problem. She really enjoys the outdoors and loves going to the dog park. She would be best suited to a home with a backyard to play in.

Daisy is still a puppy in many ways but much farther ahead then many pups her age. She is believed to be approximately 9 months old.
