My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jase is a beautiful young dog that is friendly and affectionate. With his intelligent expression and lively temperament, he makes an excellent companion for a family that enjoys outdoor activities. He is both food and praise motivated making him easy to train. He is a young, medium sized dog with a lovely coat.

Jase has changed so much in such a short time and his foster family have done an excellent job in teaching him basic obedience and how to walk nicely on a leash. He is very hard to photograph but in person he is a handsome dog with a very appealing and fun personality. He has become quite the social butterfly and loves everyone he meets. He is great with other dogs but can sometimes be a little too rough for the wee ones. He enjoys playing with and getting affection from all the kids in his foster home and is often the peacemaker with the other dogs.

Jase is a sweet boy that is very loyal, intelligent and eager to please. He is very smart and picks things up very quickly. He would be a wonderful companion for someone that was wanting a real buddy. He loves to be with people but can also amuse himself. He would be fine as a second dog or as the only dog in the home as long as he got enough attention and exercise. He is a good watchdog and will bark when someone comes to the home but is not aggressive and instead will welcome them in with tail wags and a smiling face.

Jase is both house and crate trained and can be left for a normal working day with no issues. He would love a home with a backyard to play in, another dog would be great and kids that enjoyed playing with him would be wonderful too. He is a young dog and will need someone that is willing to continue his training but for now he has all the basics down. He is an excellent travelling companion and does well in the car.

Here is what Jase’s foster family had to say:

Jase is house trained, crate trained, walks nicely on led with a halti, and can be a positive pack leader. He knows sit and that it is required before exiting the house or getting food. He thrives on attention and is easily trainable, very smart. He will make an amazing pet. He will do well with or without another dog. Personally, I don’t think dogs this young should be left alone all day so another dog would be best if the family works. Playing with the other dogs and daily walks I’m sure have helped Jase. He doesn’t shy away from anyone. You really couldn’t ask for a better dog. We have really enjoyed being part of Jase’s training into a perfect companion pet.
