My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ray is 1 year old and extremely attached to his sister Clarissa. We are looking for a home where these 2 can stay together forever. They are very sweet and gentle dogs.

These two sweet dogs are doing well adjusting to life in a house. They love to get affection as long as you come up slowly, and they are becoming more trusting every day. They have figured out all of the basics: house training, sleeping through the night, eating at regular times, and PLAYING! They love the backyard, especially when it's full of kids. They are very gentle and tolerant of children and their friends. They have started to show their mischievous puppy side with some chewing (we are learning to puppy-proof again!). They are learning how to walk on a leash and are doing well as long as they don't get too far apart. Their dependence on each other is not nearly as strong as it was when they first arrived. Ray will actually allow Clarissa to leave the room, and not have to run after her. They still need work but get an "A" for effort so far!
Update from the foster mom: As you can see they are very good with children! Ray follows me and keeps me company throughout my day. He is great on the leash and would make someone a good walking or jogging partner. Ray is very intelligent. He mastered 'sit' within the first two hours he was with us. He is house broken, crate trained and will do about anything for a treat.

He is terrific with children. Yesterday the baby fell and hit his head on the door frame corner. When the baby started to cry, Ray came up and licked his head where he bumped it. He does appear to worry and whines when he is unsure of what is going on. He is a sweet gentle soul and very eager to please. Ray needs someone that will continue to love him for the lover boy that he is and teach him more tricks and manners.
