"The Boys" came to us from a terribly neglectful situation. The person that bred them never socialized them, and they have spent their entire lives in a small cage out of doors, even in sub zero temperatures. These boys are scared to death, but are fortunate enough to have a new foster mother who is going to work with them to help them learn to trust and love humans. They are quite matted, and even had feces stuck to the hair on their behinds. Poor boys. We've treated the fleas, had them neutered, and will work on their beautiful coats at the same time as they are being socialized. They are breathtaking to look at, and can go to a new home at any time if someone would like to work with them. They have been together all of their lives, but we don't feel they are so bonded that they need to be placed as a pair. Posted: 2/3/07. Updates as they become more courageous.
