Angel's Story...
Angel is a young female Husky/Shepherd/Lab mix. She weighs about 50 pounds and we estimate her age at maybe 1 year. Angel came to us from our local Austin city dog pound. Angel is quite gentle and calm, as you can see from her photos. She has done well with people at our Shelter, and seems to do OK with other dogs. Angel is spayed and current with all vaccinations. She also keeps her kennel pen pretty clean, so there's a good chance she is housetrained. The adoption fee for Angel is $75. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes. This form is a simple one-sided Microsoft Word document and it can be e-mailed to you upon request. If you would like to receive the form via e-mail, or if you have any other questions, please send us an e-mail message.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Austin Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
