Jasmine II's Story...

Meet Jasmine – a 28-pound bundle of energy. She may be small in size, but she is big on affection, going for long walks, swimming in the pool, and just hanging out with her humans. When she is on, she is on high speed; but she also does settle down and behaves nicely in the house.

“Princess” Jasmine is very comfortable lounging on any of the furniture and is happiest at night sleeping at the end of the bed. It appears she was spoiled in her former life and now expects everyone to understand that. If you do not want her on your furniture, it will take a little training. She does know "off", considering it merely a suggestion that she may take when you are very insistent but does not apply all the time. Her fosters have not crated Jasmine because she is fine in the house when they are home or away. She is fed in her crate, and she is fine with that, but she is not keen on spending much time there.

Jasmine loves being outdoors. Like any young Husky she pulls for a while when on leash, but at 28 pounds she is easy to handle. After about the first ½ mile she does slow down to a reasonable pace and, aside from catching sight of a squirrel, she is content to walk nicely. Jasmine has met a variety of people and dogs on her walks and has met no one she does not like. Unlike many Huskies, she also loves to swim and is very happy paddling around the pool.

Even though Jasmine eats in her crate, she shows absolutely no protectiveness of her bowls, food, or toys. She will gently take treats and lines up with the other dogs to receive them. As young and energetic as she is, Jasmine will need a home without toddlers and very young children. She also is not compatible with cats or small animals.

Because Jasmine is such a high-energy girl, she will need a fenced yard and/or a regimen that will provide her with lots of exercise and attention.

Jasmine is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date with all her shots. Give her a chance and she will provide you with plenty of love and affection and add some spice to your life. Fill out an adoption application on our web site,, today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine II, a Seminole Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Seminole, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Seminole.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seminole already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seminole breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seminole paves the way for another one to be saved.
