My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fred's adopted! He got a new mommy & daddy on 10/22/11.

Fred is the perfect size for someone looking for a smaller medium sized dog to share their life with. Fred is a 1-2 year old Chihuahua/Dachsund mix who weighs about 20 lbs. and has one of the best personalities we’ve seen in a while. He is playful and affectionate, gets along well with other dogs & absolutely loves as much attention as possible from any person who’ll give it to him.

We’ve crate trained Fred & he is housetrained as well. We’re looking for a home for Fred that will provide him with lots of attention and companionship as this is one little guy that really deserves it!

Fred is neutered, up to date on his shots, and has no known health issues.

Adoption fee is $90. Thank you for wanting to share your home with one of our rescued pups!

If you are a parent adopting for your children, please remember we do pick the best home for our pups. If there are 2 applications that come in at the same time, for example, and one will be a better fit, that is the one we choose. Many parents pump up their children about getting a specific puppy, and it can be very sad for the child if the particular puppy isn't a good fit unbeknownst to them. We put this disclaimer here because a couple of parents have been upset when a home that used doggy daycare & had a fenced in yard was chosen over crate-all-day without a backyard. Peace.
