Peaches's Story...
Peaches came to the shelter September 17th with her baby, Cream. Peaches & Cream were found by a kind person who took care of them for several weeks before they had to give them up. They desperately want Peaches & Cream to find loving homes of their own. We are not sure how Peaches gets along with other dogs, small children or cats. If you are interested in adopting Peaches, you can visit her at the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter located at 3265 Curve Nankipoo Rd in Ripley, Tennessee. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-2pm. (Closed Noon-1pm for lunch.) We are also open 8am-Noon on Saturday. Closed on Sunday. Our phone number is (731) 836-7387. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Ripley Cocker Spaniel/Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
