found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
It was touch & go for about a week because the infection was so widespread and she was so very dehydrated. Her white blood count remained very high for several days and she constantly need fluids. So far, her veterinary bills are about $800.00. Please use the ChipIn button above to donate toward little Nickis veterinary bills. If you prefer, a donation check may be mailed to: ABGRA Treasurer, 300 Wexford Drive, Lemont, IL 60439.
Nicki is with her foster mom now, but she isnt completely out of the woods yet She is able to eat and drink on her own now and enjoys being carried outside for a breath of fresh air. She is taking her medications and there will be a few more checkups before she gets a clean bill of health.
This tiny girl is only 2 years old and weighs just 6 lbs. Even as sick as she was, Nickis personality is very sweet and she is already giving her foster mom little kisses & small tail wags. We named her Nicki because she got out of that very bad place just in the nick of time! Her pictures show her progress.
Nicki will be available for adoption soon, once she has fully recovered. She is being fostered in the Wichita, KS metropolitan area, and her foster mom will be VERY selective about who is allowed to adopt sweet little Nicki.
Please keep in mind that we prefer to place Nicki within driving distance of where she is being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get Nicki and she must fly home in the cabin with his new family. Under no circumstances can our rescues ever be shipped in cargo.
If you are interested in adopting Nicki, please submit an adoption application at www.abgra.org.. If you have any questions, please contact us at the email link below.
