Dawn's Story...
You know the saying "it's always darkest before the dawn"? Well, I'm going to have to agree to that because I'm Dawn and you won't believe how much lighter your life will be after you meet me! I am a very affectionate and loving 3 year old Siamese mix who has just enough sass to keep everyone entertained! I love to play particularly with catnip toys, but I'm not super keen on sharing so I would be happier in a home without other cats. I am good with dogs and certainly great with people! If you are interested in meeting me please come down to the Pixie Project today! I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dawn, a Portland Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Portland, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
