Dancer came to us in late 2008 with his brother's Dasher and Donner. They were all very shy at first and it took quite a while for them to warm up to people. Donner became the most social, Dasher the least likely to end up in your lap, and Dancer somewhere in the middle. Definitely not a lap cat, but Dancer will come to you for petting. The more he gets to know you, the more social he becomes! He has silky soft fur and a very quiet, shy personality. He is great with other cats. You can see him with his buddy Dakota in one of his pictures. If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: http://www.commcat.org . Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees are $50 for adult cats, $85 for kittens under one year, and double the love with two adult cats for $85. All cats are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia), and microchipped.

About the Rescue GroupLearn More
We are a cat advocacy group dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. Our purpose is to help owned and unowned cats in our area by facilitating high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter services; helping caregivers to find resources to keep and humanely care for their cats; and providing care to cats in need, especially those who may not find help elsewhere.

We are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!
