TIBBY's Story...
"Tibby" an adorable 4 four month-old Boston Terrier mix was found wandering near a bayou when only 8 weeks-old. Weighing less than five pounds, he had hardly any hair and sores all over his tiny body. A Rice U graduate school couple bundled him up and took him to the vet and a few days later brought him to True Blue Friends where he had to be isolated until his skin condition healed. Throughout his ordeal, Tibby had a great spirit and a hearty appetite and soon his beautiful black and white coat grew back, all wavy and shiny. Now, neutered, and weighing almost 20 pounds, Tibby is ready for his new life to begin. Contact Janice at to arrange a meeting with Tibby.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TIBBY, a Houston Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
