Fozzie Bear is one of the cutest dogs this doggie foster mom has seen in a long time! He has the body of a Bassett Hound, with the long torso, short legs, and out-turned front feed to prove that lineage. His head came from some other ancestor; we are not sure what exactly! He got just enough of the bassett ears to make them hang forward and down and look just a little like a hound.
This darling, sweet boy is probably about 18 mos. old. Fozzie loves people and is very outgoing and friendly. He is still a little shy and unsure when he finds himself in a new place but kind voices and loving pets comfort him quickly.
He still has a bit of puppy playfulness and gets along great with other dogs. He is housetrained and immediately flopped down on the cushy dog bed when he first came into his foster home from being in the shelter so he must have had some experience with a comfie home in the past.
Something must have happened at his happy home, because Fozzie came into a Central Valley shelter as a stray with a too-tight collar. He is still recovering from the resulting neck sores.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. Fozzie is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention.
