Pete's Info...

Pete's Story...
Pete is a Congo African Grey, who simply needed time to come out of his shell. Due to illness Pete's previous guardian could no longer care for him. He was confined to his cage for years, and it took him several days to realize he could actually come out of his new larger cage. Now, Pete loves to sit on the top of the door and flap his wings. That was something he wasn't able to do in his previous cage.

Although he does not like to be held, Pete doesn't lunge or snap when people are close to him. He has a great personality and makes all kinds of fun sounds. He likes to preen his foster mom and give her kisses. Pete would make the right person a terrific companion.

Pete's approximate hatch date is 2001, and his adoption donation is $500.
