Bella was left behind at a high kill shelter when her owners moved.

It’s really difficult to understand how anyone could leave Bella (aka Bell or Bells) behind when she is a perfect little dog. She is house trained and crate trained. She can be given free roam of the home when alone or go in a crate, whatever her people prefer. She can be left for typical 9-5 work hours as well but is the perfect little lady to join you at work or running errands. Bell is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats and gets along well with everyone big or small. She can be a little bossy when meeting new dogs but give her The Tone - “hey” or “be nice” reminds her of her manners. She is somewhat playful with other dogs her size but for the most part just enjoys canine companionship. Belle would be fine in a home with respectful children of any age. She knows a few basic commands and will hop on the furniture if invited or get off when told, she walks nicely on leash and once bonded with her new owner should be fine off leash at the parks. Bell is a great little lap dog and will hang out on your lap or beside you on the couch or if you want to go outdoors and play outside all day she is up for that too. She is active but not hyper and enjoys a good walk each day but can deal with shorter walks if the weather isn’t so great. She is a perfect balance of athletic and outdoorsy Terrier and loyal lounging buddy when you want. Bell is loveable, easy going but energetic when the time is right, she is easy to have around the home and a pleasure to walk or play with outside. She is calm, clean and quiet in the home. She doesn’t mind getting a bath and likes going for a car ride. She has great manners around the home and likes to snuggle on the couch or at night on the bed. Bell would be the perfect addition to just about any home. She would love to find a house with a fenced yard but could also handle an apartment with enough walks.
