Junior von Harrison's Story...
Junior von Harrison is a fetchingly handsome 18 month old German Shepherd whose good looks don’t change no matter which angle you look at him. Once Junior’s owner died, he was taken to the shelter, where nobody came for him, which is always so puzzling to us. He’s such a treasure to discover because he knows his basic commands already, such as sit, down, stay and he even walks well on a leash. Junior gets along well with other dogs and even had a good first cat test. He’s a good sized boy with a beautiful shiny coat that shows his owner obviously took good care of him. Junior enjoyed meeting some of the children visiting a recent adoption event. He’s an amazing guy looking for a wonderful family to claim him and treat him like a prince. So if you’re interested in meeting Junior, shake a leg and fill out an application because he’s already planning his post adoption party at your house!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junior von Harrison, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
