Hello, my name is Howie. I had a rough start to life when three girls found me shivering in their back yard. I was only 4 weeks old so I fit perfectly into the shoebox they put me in. They didn't know what to do with me so they took me to Petco. Lucky for me, my foster mommy was walking out of Petco when I walked in, so she took me home! I was covered in fleas and very skinny and no amount of flea combing seemed to get those nasty things off of me! I was too little for flea treatment so she had to flea comb me every day. I gained weight quickly and now all those nasty little fleas are gone, so it's time for me to find a new home! I originally tested positive for Feline Leukemia, but after further testing I am proud to say I am negative! Since I originally tested positive I had to be away from all the other kitties in the house, so I didn't meet my first kitty until I was 10 weeks old, which means that I know life as an only kitty and I was perfectly happy having all the attention to myself! I love the other kitties in the house as well, so I would also be good with other kitties. I have also been around the family bunny, chickens and the dogs and I love them all! My foster mommy says that I was born around July 10th, 2011. She also says that I am very playful and very wild. When I hear my name I will come running over to you and start purring and purring and purring some more! I will sleep next to you (maybe even under the covers on cold nights!) and i will follow you around the house. Please help me find my forever home soon!
