Hello - my name is Weaver, and I am a very friendly feline!! I got my name "Weaver" because I like to weave in and out of your legs - how cool is that!? I love to be petted and enjoy basking in the sun and looking out the window. Will you give me the wonderful forever home I deserve?
Weaver has a condition called Feline Infectious Anemia and needs to be the only cat in a home. He requires ongoing blood work to make sure that his values stay in the normal range.

About Rescued Tails Animal Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescued Tails is a small group of volunteers who believes that every life is valuable, and that every healthy or treatable animal is worth saving. We have an affinity for those animals whose chances of being rescued from impounds or kill-shelters are minimized due to breed, age, temperament and/or color. We provide training or seek medical treatment when applicable to ensure that every one of our animals gets a chance at a new beginning.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Some of our pets live at our sanctuary in Shell Lake, WI, and others are fostered in homes in the Twin Cities, MN area. We do adoptions days at least once a month. We can make arrangements for you to meet any of our pets on an appointment basis.

Our Adoption Process...

Welcoming a pet into your home is a commitment of time, patience, money and love. You should think very carefully and do your research before adopting any animal. Rescued Tails Animal Sanctuary spays / neuters all companion animals before adoption. All animals are vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested (dogs), feline leukemia tested and microchipped. If you find an animal that you are interested in on our web site please call, or e-mail us, and we will gladly tell you more about that special animal. Our experienced volunteers will help you select a companion animal that will fit your personality and lifestyle. We want you to experience a rewarding, lifetime relationship with your new companion. If you find a furry friend you wish to adopt you will fill out an adoption application and then a home visit will be set up. At the time of adoption you will fill out an adoption contract and pay the adoption donation.
