Kit Kat's Story...
This little came to us so sad. He was from a neglectful home, and they wouldn't let us take him or even buy him and his brother. They were never home, and the dogs never got fed or fresh water, sometimes for a week at a time. The dogs finally escaped from their yard and were found wandering around trying to find food. We scooped them up, happy to finally have control of their fate. Then we found out how bad it was- this little 4 month old puppy was emaciated and starved for attention. He is very smart and very sweet, was crate trained in 1 night! He is doing great and has gained tons of weight since he has been here. He is now ready to go to a forever home to get spoiled and most importantly FED!! It is so sad to see any dog starving, but when a little puppy has to know that suffering, it breaks my heart even more. Please consider taking this guy into your home and showing what being loved is all about.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kit Kat, a Phelan Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phelan, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Phelan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phelan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phelan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phelan paves the way for another one to be saved.
