Landry's Story...
A beautiful tri colored border collie mix pup, Landry''s inquisitive, curious nature is as appealing as her looks. She is affectionate and enjoys being petted, but will soon be off exploring whatever caught her eye around the corner. Landry is trusting and bold. She recovers quickly if something startles her and moves toward the object for a closer look. She's intelligent and should easily learn basic and more advanced obedience tasks. Landry has been spayed, vet checked, dewormed, and vaccinated. Providing Landry with lots of toys, exercise, and human interaction will steer her down the road to a well-mannered, happy dog. Landry already walks on a leash and knows the sit, off, and down commands. Born Jan. 2007, she should mature to 35 pounds full grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Landry, a Chapel Hill Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
