My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ringo is as cute and sweet as they come! He is a rough coat short-legged boy who just wants someone to love him. Ringo was in a kill shelter outside of Austin and was very sad and scared. He is now in his foster home, unpacking his bags, and loving the freedom! Ringo has a mild temperament and kind personality. He is doing fine with the resident dogs. In his previous home, he lived with 4 children and got along well with them.

I just love this little fellow and I think you will as well. He is slowly coming around and asking for pets. No licks yet, but I know that will come. Ringo lived outside in his previous home and does LOVE to be outside. Because he was an outside dog, inside living is new to him. We have started house training and will work hard on this! We would like to find a home that will have patience with this sweet guy and allow him access to both inside and outside living.

Ringo is a water dog! He loves to SIT, yes, SIT in the outdoor water bowl. This is one of the cutest things I have seen a dog do. I will post a picture and video of this soon.

Ringo's vet records show that he broke a leg a year ago, got surgery, and healed up fine. There is absolutely NO evidence of any problems with that healed up leg. He runs, plays, rolls around, and walks just perfectly. Had I not read the vet records, I would never have suspected.

NO CATS! NO Exceptions!
