Look at this smiling face! Patches is a beautiful hound mix girl who was wandering around and 'found' a caring, compassionate family. Unfortunately they couldn't keep her, but they definitely wanted to make sure she gets into a home with a family who will love her forever, so they called on AAMR for assistance. She is a great girl who is just full of love she wants to share with a new family of her very own.
At first Patches was very shy, but she has now decided that being with people is a good thing! She is very playful and wants to stay where she can see her people at all times! She was probably born late 2008 or early 2009 and she is around 55 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped and updated on all her shots.
Patches is a great pup and with all her energy and playfulness, she will do best with a very active family who will include her in all their activities! She needs a fenced yard to get plenty of exercise or someone who will take her for LONG walks or runs every day. She's just waiting for the perfect family to find her!
If you think Patches might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.
We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Patches picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
Please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have additional questions.
