Hershey's Story...
Hello my name is Hershey, I am about 3.5 years old and full grown at 12 pounds. I was turned in by my family because they have a toddler in the house and I felt like I wasnt getting any attention. I am a sweet man, shy at first but just let me get comfy and I will be your best bud!! I would do best in a low traffic house hold with no small children! I would love a nice lap to snuggle in and a cozy couch to lounge on. Do you have room in your heart and home for me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hershey, a Edwardsville Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Edwardsville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Edwardsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edwardsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edwardsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edwardsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
