Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Romeo's Story...
Romeo is a 5.5-lbs, 18-month old neutered male Brindle Chihuahua. He was abandoned on a busy street, where a Guardian Angel was able to pull him to safety out of the heavy traffic in which he had been left to fend for himself. This little guy has perfect leash manners, travels and crates well and is overall a little lover. He loves to play with his foster fur-brothers, yet is also quite happy to chill and relax in front of the TV. Romie is living in a foster home with other small breed dogs and cats, with whom he is happy to play with both, but respects his feline friends space. Romeo does need to have access to a garden as well as another doggie companion with whom to play. He has been trained to take care of business outside and is not pad trained. Romeo has impeccable manners and would be a wonderful little traveling companion.

Due to Romeo's small size no large dogs or small children please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Escondido Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Escondido, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Escondido.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Escondido already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Escondido breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Escondido paves the way for another one to be saved.
