Doodle's Story...
Meet Doodle! This sweet little tabby boy is one of 6 impish brothers (count 'em!) who is awaiting a home of his very own. Doodle would thrive in a home with one of his brothers (take your pick!) or a home that already has another kitten or young, playful cat in need of a buddy.

Boy energy abounds in this lively group of six! There's never a dull moment (or a moment's peace!) when Doodle & Co. are ready to rumble. But hey, their antics are worth the price of admission, we assure you! If you can't keep up with them, it's a lot of fun to watch them in action!

If you are interested in adopting Doodle and his siblings (as well as his darling mom Bunny and adorable sister Pippa), please contact us for more information. Cindy, 773.203.0215 or cindy@virtuallyhomechicago.org. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doodle, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
