Trevor's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Trevor's Story...
This is Trevor! He is a collie/golden retriever mix boy who is very sweet and energetic. We found 4 of these siblings abandoned in the mountains. They would have had no chance of survival, so we are thankful we happened upon them and were able to save them! Trevor doesn't bark, he has a little squeek that he does instead. He is very sweet and is learning that people can be kind and loving. He is about 4 months old (September)....and just need a chance to show what a wonderful companion he can be!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trevor, a Portland Golden Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
