Danstan's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Danstan's Story...
Dastan is A LOVE!!! This super sweet young man came to us...from the streets. He was filthy and injured...our vet suspects someone had sprayed him in the face with a chemical. He is just about fully recovered and is anxious to find a family of his own. Dastan would thrive in a home where he could be the center of attention and get LOTS of affection from his human. Everyone that meets him falls instantly in love, including our vet! He purrs and kneads, showing every bit of his desire to be comforted and loved, which he will surely give in return.

Dastan is guesstimated to be about three years old. He is neutered and front paw declawed (previous owner), dewormed, microchipped and is current on all vaccines.

If you are interested in Danstan, please contact Kim, our Feline Adoption Coordinator, at kjayne@rornfp.org for more info.

Please note, we do not have a building, so there are no "viewing hours". Please email for an application as our volunteers may not be able to return your call promptly. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danstan, a Oak Lawn Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
