Alice's Story...
Alice is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier & she is just PERFECT! She loves people, she loves dogs, and she loves to play. She is housetrained, crate trained, working on leash training, & is a very quiet & well-mannered girl. She is now fully vetted & ready for adoption. Alice was rescued from a life on a chain & for the 1st few days in foster cowered when her foster parents attempted to pet her as if she were afraid they would hit her. Despite her fear, she has never reacted negatively or aggressively, & passed her temperament test with flying colors. She is now focusing on putting on some weight & taking it easy as an inside dog. The ideal candidate for Alice would be someone that can give her lots of attention & affection since she loves to be loved, and plenty of exercise. Interested in Alice? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Killen American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Killen, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Killen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Killen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Killen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Killen paves the way for another one to be saved.
